How to Qualify as a Buyer
The qualification criteria of the ITB India Buyer’s Programme varies year-on-year and is highly dependent on exhibitors' feedback and requirements.
ITB India upholds a strict validation process to ensure all attending buyers are serious decision makers.
The validation process is based in the following details:
- Commitment to a set number of appointments with ITB India exhibitors
- Decision maker of a company who had significant procurement volume of travel services such as accommodation, air tickets, tour packages, etc. For example: travel agents, corporate & outbound travel managers or travel procurement managers
- End-user buyers are preferred. Intermediaries and 3rd party contracting managers will be accepted as trade (non-hosted) buyers
- Noticeable procurement track record for India or South Asia outbound (ITB India may conduct checks on proof of travel procurement for auditing purposes)
- Buyer’s Rating – applicable to buyers who had attended ITB series of shows before
*ITB India Buyers Team will also consider exhibitors' feedback on past buyers’ participation to the show. - ITB India can only host one person per company to provide equal opportunities to all participating companies
- Availability of slots for the respective packages
To ensure that all buyers are right matches to attending exhibitors, the ITB India Buyers Team may request for supporting documents from buyers. Please rest assured that all information submitted are strictly private and confidential.
